Who we are
Maidthorn Partners was founded by Simon Walker and Debbie Wosskow. We came together from backgrounds in media & entertainment, marketing & communications to create a next generation advisory firm for the creative industries.
We work with our clients in three different ways: solving problems, doing deals, and creating & monetising innovation.
Maidthorn currently works with many of the world’s largest media corporations, as well as a selection of the fast-growing success stories of the future. Maidthorn also works with investors to fund ‘game-changing’ ideas and has access to significant capital reserves.
We also put our own money where our mouth is – either by partnering with our clients and funding joint ventures, or financing or launching our own businesses, ‘Made by Maidthorn’. In 2010 we launched www.luxehomeswap.com – now the leading style-driven home exchange business in the world, and soon to be a major television format. In 2011 we launched TripleSEE – www.triple-see.com - an ‘end-to-end enabler’ to help content owners exploit YouView and other connected TV platforms.
